Minimal hail damage stones under 1 inch impacting roof. Cannot be seen from the street and takes getting on the roof by a trained certified hail expert

Average hail damage: stones ranging from 1-2 inches impacting the roof. Can be seen from the ground and will start causing leaks in 3-6 months after the sun dry rots the exposed non-protected areas.

​When the builder added the new roof to the house he was required to put 4 nails per shingle application. This is what the shingle manufacturers require to get the warranty and get 110 MPH wind rating. UNLESS you live 30 miles from the ocean or the pitch is a 10/12 or 12/12 or steeper (code is 6 nails). But at ROOF 1 CONSTRUCTION.....we give you a better roof and just add 6 nails per shingle and that makes the roof withstand UP to 135 MPH winds.We just like to do it right the first time.
